A bit about me

Hi and welcome to my seasoning blog.

I love to grow herbs and vegetables, cook with natural ingredients and share my enthusiasm for using our fabulous native herbs as well as spices from around the world.

My blog includes posts about using herbs and spices and exploring other natural ingredients, as well as pieces about natural v processed food and other food-related musings. It’s a work in progress..

I make delicious, natural ketchups and sauces here in the beautiful Holme Valley and I run workshops for adults and children that encourage natural, wholesome cooking with creative use of local & exotic herbs and spices.

I just love everything to do with creative, natural cooking, whether it’s learning how to make my own butter or exploring tastes and flavours from around the world.

I support local producers and growers, co-operative food companies and ethical food production.
